Since Shenzhen, known as China's "Silicon Valley", is home to numerous world-class high-tech enterprises, field trips to local well-known enterprises were arranged on the second day for a group of high school presidents to experience the technology frontier. The rest of them attended the seminars held by The Chinese University of Hong Kong and exchanged with mainland Chinese students studying there.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a platform for the communication between high schools and universities. It is an exploration of the new higher education model and an effective way to make contribution to the educational reform in China.
