Post Specification:

This position is established under the Office of Admissions and Career Services, primarily responsible for international student recruitment and admissions.

Essential Duties:

1. To process international student applications on a rolling basis by working closely with other team staff and academic schools;

2. To understand and be familiar with the admissions standards, policies and procedures for undergraduate programmes;

3. To communicate in an effective manner with recruitment officers the admission policies and procedures;

4. To prepare statistical reports, analysis and policy documents for admissions;

5. Support promotional material creation;

6. Other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications:

1) Master's degree, international study experience preferred; or bachelor's degree with 2 years of working experience;

2) Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and spoken;

3) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

4) Advanced research skills: preparing statistical reports and analysis;

5) Outstanding time management skill and ability to work under pressure;

6) Familiar with international standard test systems, like SAT, IB, A-level, IELTS, TOEFL and etc.

行政助理 - 理工学院 Executive Assistant - SSE (Ref.2018/284/01)

The applicant for Executive Assistant should have (i) Bachelor degree, higher degree preferred; (ii) post-qualification clerical experience of at least one year; (iii) good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; (iv) strong communication skills; (v) good physical and mental health with strong affinity; and (vi) proficiency in Microsoft Office software and social media.

Duties include (i) student affairs; (ii) support to faculty; (iii) handling clerical work in school office; and (iv) undertaking other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen [CUHK(SZ)] is a new, independent university established through a Memorandum of Understanding between The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Shenzhen University and the Shenzhen Municipal Government.
