Self-financing is required. No financial support.

2. Application Category

The applications are divided into two categories: natural science and humanities & social science.

2.1 Key Scientific Research Platforms

Key scientific research platforms include the Key Laboratory of Guangdong Higher Education Institute (mainly support relevant fields of Guangdong's Double Ten industrial clusters), Engineering Technology Research (Development) Center of Guangdong Higher Education Institute, Key Laboratory of Philosophy and Social Science of Guangdong Higher Education Institute, Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Science of Guangdong Higher Education Institute. Our school can declare one application for each type of platform, and the total number of declarations shall not exceed two applications.

2.2 New Think Tanks of Guangdong Higher Education Institute

New Think Tanks focuses on policy and theoretical research in areas such as technology finance, artificial intelligence, technology commercialization, modern industrial systems, new productive forces, high-quality development projects in hundreds of counties, thousands of towns, and tens of thousands of villages, comprehensive education reform, and education powerhouse development. One application can be declared totally.

2.3 Innovative Team Pragram

Two applications can be declared totally.

2.4 Focal Area Program

Eight applications can be declared totally.

2.5 Featured Innovation Program and Young Innovative Talent Program

Two applications can be declared totally.

3. Application Conditions

4. Application Process

4.1 Key Scientific Research Platforms will carry out internal intention solicitation. Each school is requested to provide feedback on the Intention Application Form (Annex 2) and send it to luoyan@cuhk.edu.cn by 15:00pm on June 4. RAO will organize the intramural selection according to the feedback, and the notification will be issued separately. Other types of programs may be directly applied for following the established procedures.

4.2 The online application shall be submitted via https://gdjyky.gdedu.gov.cn. Applicants shall upload the completed application form to the application system before 17:00pm on June 20, and submit it to RAO for review.

5.Notes

(1) The program leader (including the main participants) shall undertake no more than 3 provincial financial support projects.

(2) The last page of the application document shall require the project leader and research team members to provide signatures and affix the official seal of the university. Please ensure that the version number of the signed and sealed page is consistent with that of the version submitted online.
