Notification of Application for Guangdong Joint Research Fund with Enterprises 2025(Public health and medical area)
The Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong province has initiated the program application for Guangdong joint research fund with enterprises 2025(Public health and medical area). Details of application requirements are as follows:
1. Categories
The program set two subtypes with General Project and Key Project.
General Project
The duration is three years with the funding intensity RMB 100,000 or 200,000 per project;
Key Project
The duration is three years with the funding intensity RMB 500,000 per project.

2. Requirements
a. Application limit
(1) Each applicant shall submit one project of Guangdong joint research fund at most in the same year;
(2) Applicants may submit no more than two applications for provincial science and technology programs (including special projects and funds) in a single year;
(3) The total number of Guangdong provincial research projects a researcher undertakes as the PI should not exceed three;
(4) The total number of Guangdong natural science fund projects a researcher undertakes as the PI should not exceed two;
(5) Only one Guangdong joint research fund with enterprises will be approved for the same applicant once in a year;
(6) Grantees of the Guangdong natural science fund 2025 are not allowed to apply for Guangdong joint research fund with enterprises 2025;
(7) Grantees of the Guangdong major research program and key area R&D program or key project, research team project, major basic research fostering project of Guangdong natural science fund are not allowed to apply for Guangdong joint research fund with enterprises 2025.
b. Collaborative research requirements
(1) General Projects are limited to 2 partner institutions; Key Projects may include up to 3 partner institutions;
(2) If main participants include researchers from other domestic institutions, a collaboration agreement which contains fund allocation, division of labor, ownership of intellectual property and other relevant contents shall be signed and sealed before submission online(applicants shall upload it to the system in the stage of application);
(3) For overseas participants, he or she shall upload the “Informed Consent Letter” (template can be downloaded from application system and need to be signed by applicant) to the application system;
c. Other requirements
(1) The project start time in the application form should be Dec. 1，2025;
(2) Please refer to Annex 4 for templates of application forms;
(3)Applicants shall first read guide (Annex 1) carefully to make full sense of requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applying Unit: Must be a hospital or healthcare institution within Guangdong Province.
Collaboration: May partner with an eligible sponsoring unit to submit the application.
3. Procedure of application
Applicants shall fill out application forms in Chinese and upload supplementary documents(please refer Annex 5-Attachments list) online via the application system ( http://pro.gdstc.gd.gov.cn/ ) on or after Nov. 12, 2025, without submitting any hard copies.

4.Deadline
The period for online formal application and recommendation by the sponsoring institution is from November 12, 2025, to December 1, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
