Description

This is the second of four courses designed to develop English language knowledge for use in translation and/or simultaneous interpretation. This second course will continue the development of the students’ English language skills, including focused listening skills, conversation skills and essay writing skills. Their understanding of the use of English language in a cultural setting, and how the English language is used by native and non-native speakers will be further developed. Additionally, students will be introduced to Critical Thinking. They will further enhance their understanding of cross-cultural communication.
