Description

This course aims to build upon concepts learned in ENG1002 (EAP1) to construct the foundation of strong oral and written English communication skills required to succeed in today’s social, academic, scientific, and business environments. Students will engage a variety of materials to include authentic academic texts, peer reviewed journal articles, and related videos. In-class activities will center on public speaking and core skills related to research paper writing. Assessments will include two oral assessments, a research proposal, and a major research paper.
