International Summer Program Information

Final Examination Day: 27 June, 2019 (Thur.)
We will offer three modules. Students are required to take one language course from Module A and a maximum of two content-based courses from Module B&C.
Module A: Chinese Language Studies
- Basic Chinese
- Intermediate Chinese
- Advanced Chinese
Module B: Chinese History, Culture and Society
- Modern Chinese History
- Chinese Philosophy and Culture
- Changes in Contemporary China
- Nature, Science and Technology in China
Module C: Social Practice Project in China
Students will explore their interests in Chinese society by contributing to group projects. With the guidance of the advisors in CUHK-Shenzhen, students will participate in seminars or field studies and submit projects for assessment, of which the topics cover cultural study, hot phenomenon in Chinese society or other aspects.

* One-bedroom apartment is limited in quantity and the accommodation is subject to availability.
You are required to pay a deposit of CNY 100 (for single room) or CNY 1, 000 (for twin room). The deposit will be refunded once checked out.

Students will have completed at least one year of undergraduate study at the time of joining CUHK-Shenzhen International Summer Program, and be able to meet the minimum 3.0 GPA requirement. For non-native English speakers, applicants are required to demonstrate the evidence of English language proficiency.
